Anders Johnsson and Petter Thorne is a young designer based in Stockholm, who graduated from the University Konstfack Sweden this spring. Both designers have created a chair from the bark of a named chair Mold as part of their final project for the Interior Architecture and Furniture Design program. While visiting various Swedish furniture manufacturers, they noticed the large quantities of waste materials that are normally just thrown away or burned. The wood veneer waste they saw was of particular interest to them, which they’ve used to create chairs where each piece is unique, as a result of the combination of the different types of wood. This chair is made from bark that is not dangerous, form a unique and comfortable.
