The concept came as a result of interviews with gamers, most of which were dissatisfied with the current design that hasn’t really changed much during the years, although they found the controller to be very comfortable to hold.
Most of the more dedicated gamers said when asked about motion sensing that it’s a lot of fun but not very compatible for competitive skill battle games since the technology isn’t very accurate.
